East Liverpool Junior High sweeps Creek. 7th grade won 25-15, 25-18. Kendall Laughlin had 9 points, 6 aces and 1 kill. Norah Nizer had 8 points,2 aces,1 assist and 1 kill. Chandler Talbott had 8 points, 4 aces, 2 assists, 1 block. 8th grade won in 3 sets- 25-6,20-25, 25-13. Aja’nae Lovett had 7 points,2aces,2 digs, and 1 kill. Mya Wright had 8 points,2 aces, 2 digs, and 2 kills. Taylor Ingram had 15 points,3 assists, 1 dig and 6 aces. Nylayah Glenn had 4 points,2 kills, 2 blocks and 4 aces. Zarie Foster had 4 points, 3 kills, 1 block, 1 dig and 2 aces. The coaching staff would like to Thank and recognize all of our players and parents for showing up and showing out this season. Coach Ryan Smith (7th) and Coach Amanda Weyand (8th) could not be more proud of the efforts seen from both teams thus far. As we recognized our 8th grade on Thursday evening, the pride we are beaming with is unmatched. Seeing the girls showing the “All In” mentality and theme for the season has been a great joy to watch as they’ve grown together on and off the court.
