Potters Golf Celebrates Seniors With Victory on Senior Night EAST LIVERPOOL, OH — The East Liverpool High School Golf Team had plenty to celebrate Tuesday evening as the Potters not only honored their seniors on Senior Night, but also finished the evening with a 179-200 victory over Oak Glen. The evening recognized three members of the Potters golf family: four-year team members Hadley Dobbins and Cooper Klein, along with first-year team member Peyton Shaw. For Dobbins and Klein, Senior Night marked the culmination of four years spent representing East Liverpool High School on the golf course. Their dedication, hard work and commitment have made them an important part of the Potters golf program, while Shaw became a valued member of the team during his first season. Leading the Potters on the scorecard were Cooper Klein and Donovan Shallcross, who each carded a 42. Garrett Cooper followed with a 47, while Kam Engle and Carstin Suznevich each finished with a 48. Senior Hadley Dobbins rounded out the Potters’ scores with a 59. For Oak Glen, Gannon Cline and Zach Jenkins each posted a 45, while Maddox Chaffin, Jack Cline, and Teddy McKenna each finished with a 55. The 179-200 victory added another highlight to an already special evening for the Potters, as teammates, coaches, family and friends gathered to recognize the seniors and celebrate their contributions to the program. Senior Night is about more than numbers on a scorecard. It is an opportunity to recognize the time, effort, friendships and memories that student-athletes have built throughout their high school careers. The Potters golf family is grateful to Hadley, Cooper and Peyton for representing East Liverpool with pride and wishes all three seniors the very best in the next chapter of their lives.
